Can anybody tell me if the map of Yhaunn in Forgotten Realms adventures is the only one that's been published? I'm looking for information on the temple of Selūne that was in the city, at least until the Netherese made Sembia a puppet state. Some quick searching turns up the exciting (to me) fact that a recent novel, Mistress of Night, set in 1373 DR, featured a priestess of our Lady of Silver and was set in Yhaunn. Can anybody tell me if there was still at Selūnite temple there at that point called Moonshadow Hall, and if so, is its physical layout detailed and is it still led by the High Moonmistress Dhauna Myritar?
Thanks!

I cannot answer your compound question without spoiling, but will say the temple existed slap-bang in the middle of town during the month of Eleasias, the Year of Rogue Dragons (1373 DR). Its layout is detailed in the novel.
Excellent, thanks!
Well, not really "excellent" as it means I'll have to work harder to do what I want to do, but still, thanks! And, pursuant to what you wrote in another thread, I'll make that Volo's Guide my weekly 2E Realmslore download from Wizards.

Actually, sharing lore is one of the things this place is all about, isn't it?
Oh, that and more, but I make it a habit not to share lore at the expense of a scribe's enjoyment of what the Realms has been or may become. For the record, there is indeed a map in the novel (my memory is still in good working order it seems). I cannot answer your compound question without spoiling, but will say the temple existed slap-bang in the middle of town during the month of Eleasias, the Year of Rogue Dragons (1373 DR). Posted - 01 Oct 2008 : 15:03:25 I'd gladly share more, but it's been a long time since I read the novel and the details of it are not fresh in my mind. I just don't want to give out misinformation because of that.
When you read it, I hope you enjoy it. |

Posted - 01 Oct 2008 : 08:58:30 No cheating allowed. Read the novel, as it is IMHO the best of the four The Priests series. I can't be sure, since I'm not at home to check, but I think there's a map in the front of the novel too. |

Have you read Mistress of the Night? I can say that novel does "develop" the Church of Selune in Yhaunn a bit.
By the way, I thought it was a pretty good novel, to boot. |
