It's a great book. Lots of interesting essays and a reprint of James Wallis's stellar Baron Munchaussen storytelling game.

Thanks for the kind words all, and congratulations to yourself Jim. Hobby Games: The 100 Best is a great read. I was lucky enough to pick up a copy at Gen Con last summer.
Thanks very much, Brian. The non-fiction category this year is especially strong. In addition to our projects you have Robin Laws' 40 Years of Gen Con, the terrific MIT Press book Second Person, Kobold Quarterly, and several other really sharp products. It'll be very interesting to see what five go on to the final round.
I have a horse in the fiction category race, too, with Astounding Hero Tales, which, like Hobby Games: The 100 Best, features some writers familiar to Realms readers--in this case Thomas M. Reid and Ed Greenwood. And like the non-fiction category, the fiction category is very competitive this year.
Cheers, Jim |

Ah, that's great. I've been finding myself increasingly drawn to the Castlemourn setting over the last six months.
Same here, if only I could find it in stores. :-/ |

Ah, that's great. I've been finding myself increasingly drawn to the Castlemourn setting over the last six months. And I think it's mostly due to the slow-down of published Realmslore. Regardless, it's a work that deserves such award-consideration.
Congratulations Ed, and to the fine folks of MWP for their support.
