Question: given that yuan-ti authority is highly linked to the more snake-like one appears (serpent kingdoms), how could a huminoid with little snake features expect to become the head of a house of yuan-ti?
I will admit that Dmetrio is merely a pureblood but this seems to be the exception and not the rule. |

It could be that the "potential new ruler" is the potential new ruler of Hlondeth. While this would more or less make them the head of House Extaminos, this could also mean that he has "abomination" backing that would reinforce (and guide) his rule. It might be signifying a potential split between the "visible" rule of House Extaminos (i.e. the control of Hlondeth) and control of the House abroad in more clandestine manner. |
