Rather than eliminating post counts entirely from the Welcome forum, is there an easily implemented way to make just a member's first post in any give thread count towards his or her total?

Perhaps that's too time consuming or complicated programatically (Im not the one who has to maintain this site, after all), but I thought I'd toss it out there.

Hi branmakmuffin

Not a bad idea, I guess it could be done to allow a only a zero count poster to increment.

::adds task to list::
