Is there a way to put pictures in posts?
Some forums use [IMG] [/IMG]--but that doesn't work here.

Well, if people really want it, they could possibly creat an image forum, usable for posting images. But beyond that, I can fully understand why they don't allow them on other forums. These forums are not the fast in the world (nor the slowest) and images surely would clutter them up.

Yes, I know how slow a forum can be because of loading all different pictures that the posters have added in. If there does end up being an option, is should be limited to a certain place, you know?

There is an option to allow images in posts but we have disabled it. It was decided that allowing such a feature would result in a cluttered and messy forum. I have seen many forums with this feature where unnecessary images are included in posts, such as advertising banners.

It also makes a lot of the other forums I've been to almost unusable (even with cable) because they are so slow.

Please don't change Candlekeep!

"Though the images and artwork do look nice on the scrolls, it can quickly detoriate in a big mess and make the library less of a clean place." The burly innkeeper brandishes the rag he uses to clean the tables and the countertop. "All the more work to clean up after the sometimes careless scribes." Though his bearing seems serious, the glint in the man's eyes hint at the good natured humor that is behind the words. "We can't make life to easy for the scribes, otherwise they might become lazy."

Too much effort. I want it right there before me without surfing.

Well, for that all we have to do is just link to them, at Amazon or Wizards or wherever.

Yes, I suppose. I was only thinking of bookcover pics in the novels section.

That would be nice. I've been wanting to do something like that for a while. I've got a few pictures I wanted to share.

Then again, if they're ours, we can always send them in to the site, and then link to them in the post.
