Hello-

Well - I have been looking at the bibliography - as well as clearing out some space and unpacking my older gaming material.

While going through everything - I came across a little booklet called Dark and Hidden Ways which seems to be a collection of 7 adventures, all short - as the booklet is 32 pages long.

I looked up the ISBN number on Amazon - found a listing for it - although it did not have a lot of information. I looked at the copies that were available - and one of the sellers indicated that it originally came with the Dungeoneers Survival Guide.

I bring this up because the first adventure, 'Dracolich and Drow' (*as it is called on the table of contents*) is firmly connected to the Realms - mentioning several locations, as well as the Cult of the Dragon and the Harpers. I have as-yet not gone through the other adventures to see if any of those are connected to the FR at all. I bring this up also because perhaps we should add it to the bibliography along with the TSR Jam 1999, and teh Epic Level Handbook, as being non-FR products that contain FR material.

BTW can anyone confirm that this indeed did come with the DSG?

If interested - I could post a brief synopsis of what is going on - including the lore connected to it.

For reference - the ISBN number listed is: 1560760494. There is also another number at the opposite side on the bottom - but I'm unsure what it is: 2019Sxxx1501. It is copywrighted 1990, and lists the following people as authors: William Tracy, Chris Mortika, Grant Boucher, and John Terra.

Thanks!

Hello-

Well - I would be mostly (obviously) interested in realmslore from the Wilderness-attached booklet - as I have the other! :)

From the description though - it seems less likely - as it says that it is just some monsters statted out. Might be interesting to see What monsters were included however!

I have both of these. (Dark and Hidden Ways and Wild Things) I never looked though them for Realms Lore. I'll have to go back. I even cut and attached the cardstock that wrapped them with the hardbacks. If you need any specific info about them (besides what is already found with Google above), I can dig them out. I'll have to peek though them my self now.

Drist, that's that thri-kreen wielding four scimitars who's running around the Eastern Shaar, trying to escape the attentions of his evil family, right?

Not a problem! I've discovered that for a lot of things, Google is your friend. I even use it a lot at work, when trying to figure out odd computer problems. I've also used it to simply check spelling of words, too -- if "Drist" doesn't return any hits, I've obviously misspelled it!

Hmm, I just found a reference saying it was like a bonus with the DSG. My copy of that tome is in near-mint condition, but it was long out of print when I found it (for $6 at my FLGS), so if there was a promo with it, said promo was long gone.

It's nothing I've heard of, nor is it anything I recognize. I just flipped thru my Dungeoneer's Survival Guide, and I didn't see anything like that in there.
