As a Candlekeep member, I would like to suggest a forum for only campaigns so that members can start a topic and just hold a campaign there. What do all of you other members think of this?

Well Met

We were previously approached by a well established scribe experienced in PEeM here at Candlekeep to run such an area on the forum. I will put it to the other Head Scribes and see what can be done. If you think that it would work, then I see no problem in adding this.......

Ehm... I believe a Loviatarran just left with that device... seemed someone in Skullport was asking for it...

It could be a nice addition to the site, and yes I have brought the topic up a while ago with Alaundo. It is do-able probably fun, but not exactly the same as a PbeM. I'd say after a go-ahead from the scribes, some guidelines will need to be set-up before opening the 'feature' up for the public...

Wow, I'm glad I have some people who agree with me and understand my idea. It would make it easier so that everyone could start his/her own campaign and operate it from right here on Candlekeep. It would be like an improved PBeM, what I think is called a PBF (play-by-forum). Of course, I know we've been asking a lot of you lately, so I would understand if you decided not to do it. It's your website after all, but here's a suggestion from the members of Candlekeep as to what we would like. Also, I think you and the other head scribes of Candlkeep deserve my thanks for all the improvements you've been making, including the Candlekeep Inn. So, thanks, Alaundo!

Big "Yes" for you, dummerboy!!
I didn't play PBeM before and I always wanted to do so, but I didn't have a chance. If it were here, it would be great...

I have no idea Bookwyrm! I have never run nor participated in a PBeM, but we'll see how things work out.

Quite correct Artlis, we dont make a single copper piece at Candlekeep, in fact quite the opposite ::shakes empty sack purse upside down::

I think it is a great idea!

One stop shopping!

I feel like I am pushing it though...

We sure are a demanding lot I mean this site is a labor of love and so far as I can tell doesn't make a dime.

So here I am saying "Hey do some more work, 'cause I want some more stuff. :)

Anyway I am definitely in favor.

i agree! That would be great
(oh, and i hear you know my dear friend Adam. say "hi" for me)
Im a newb to FR and D&D etc. but i started MAgic and Dragon Lace so (with Adam's help) i got interested in FR and I wanted to start campaining but PbeM sounded to confusing esp. for some one wqho doesn't know how to play but maybe this is not better. (my English teacvher would kill me if she saw this)
Lost Elph Posted - 16 Feb 2003 : 05:05:33
i like that idea....my friends and i have one and its very nice (its not a FR related one though)
Bookwyrm Posted - 16 Feb 2003 : 04:04:38
He's suggesting a PBeM using a forum here.
zemd Posted - 16 Feb 2003 : 00:39:03
