I don't know how had this is to code, but I do know its possible having seen it on other forums.
Is there any way to temporarily store text in the 'message' section of posts.
It's quite frustrating to write a long post and have flood control or a mispelled username direct you back, where you have to totally rewrite the whole thing.
it's especially noticeable when I update my campaign journal and make 3 or 4 posts at once. I often end up editing the emails as I post them and have to do this 3 or 4 times when I retype it all. |

I've had that problem a couple of times, but not oft. Usually when I hit the flood control limit, I hit Back and everything is still there. |

The Sage is correct. Unfortunately, it's a feature of the browser rather than the forum itself. Again, i'd recommend copying text to the clipboard prior to submitting thy post. I've been stung by this myself on more than one occassion  |

I know Firefox has a mod in the works for just this type of thing. Unfortunately, if you don't use Firefox, then this isn't much use to you.
Perhaps you could just copy your text at important moments... transferring it into a notepad file or something similar. Then when you're done, simply copy and paste the contents of your post back into the message window. It takes a little longer I know, but it's one way of ensuring particularly long posts are not accidently lost for whatever reason while you're online at Candlekeep.
It was because of this reason that I developed my own sub-routine for SageOS. It creates a temporary buffer for message board text if it exceeds a certain character limit. It ensures that I don't ever lose the text I'm typing in a post if it passes that specified character limit.
