I prefer to make tidy links, and seeing that most of the web is disappearing for some reason it would be nice if the URL tag worked with the Time Machine. Thanks. |

For that matter, this ancient and microsoft server tend to have problems with any [ url ] tag, unless URL is in quotes. |

Aye, we're all for preserving lore herein, without doubt. Candlekeep 2.0 should address many old formats, methods and earlier technology irritations... I just need to make it happen sooner rather than later. |

Posted - 28 Sep 2017 : 04:53:21 Messy double-linked archive address issues with the forum script codes has been reported (complained about) before, at least a few times.
Alaundo has commented before that implementing a fix isn't easy on Snitz, for some reason it breaks other things.
I only offer this since the Big Floating Head, Alaundo himself, has many other things to attend to and can sometimes be a little slow in responding here.
You bring up a good point: the sorts of hard-to-find "old lore" things we often like to link to just can't be found anywhere outside of archives, they are falling off the edge of the known world (google) with ever-increasing frequency. |
