I think Woody has it right there Karesch. Bookwyrm does live in the states. Not that he wouldn't be welcome in australia if he decided to uproot and relocate. |

If Lady K is still visiting the Grand Sage of Perth, I'd be more surprised if they were here!
Around these parts, late August is slow, and then Labor Day sucks up more time... hopefully, everyone will be back, rested, around mid-month. |

I know Bookwyrm was on a trip, I believe he's since returned. I've not heard from him in awhile, so I would guess that he is just busy currently. I imagine he'll return soon.

Almost.... The Aussie school year is March - November; which is logical when you realize that JUNE is a WINTER month there  (I was never used to it, not even when I left...) September always seemed busy when I was there, though - approaching end-of-year, dealing with Internationals, and so forth. |

Anyways.. yes mainly we lurk at the Inn and Welcome forums.. our mind hath been tapped as of late for Faerunian ideas.. and few scrolls strike our fancy anymore ... However we Blame Sage He hath turned our attention from Faerun to the Planes... and More specifically Sigil. Thus posting at Worlds a bit in Planescape... but don't worry too much.. we art still lurking about... However we wonder if Old Will'O'Deep or William of Waterdeep wilt ever return... Or if that rapscalion Cult_Leader will return? |

I remember from last year at Candlekeep that these few summer months tend to be a little quieter than other months due to people being away from school or wherever and therefore not having access to the internet, and also due to it being holiday season.

Well, I'm glad I wasn't the only one having that thought; though I'm not as experienced in X-History for me to have an opinion on that graphic novel.
As for tackiness . . . well, just because we know better doesn't mean that all someone else would see would be dollar signs. (Or the currency symbol of your choice.) After all, a lot of the country I'm in thinks that Sunday's special for some reason. Mostly for an over-hyped game of an over-hyped sport, whose commercials go for millions of dollars per second . . . . 
Makes me want to move to the Realms. But then, a lot of things do. |

I remember an advertisement from several years ago for a crossover comic featuring The Punisher and...Archie Comics! I don't think anything is too tacky for Marvel (or WOTC, if they think they could make money off it).
I suppose we shouldn't be discussing this in Candlekeep, but in my defense I have just returned from a journey into the Far Realm and am therefore incapable of understanding the rules of this reality. |
