Somewhat self-explanatory. Anyways...
1) What's the purpose of the Eight Ball smilie (aka:)? I can't quite seem how this fits in?

2) Are these smilies the only ones Candlekeep has - and will have - available? I'm guessing the administrator(s) and/or the builders of the site have ultimate say on what goes and stays as far as content, but I'm no mind-reader, so if any permissable insight into this would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

I suggest you include the LOL smilies of THIS SITE.

Well met

With the pending migration to Candlekeep Forum v2.0, it would be of little benefit to introduce new smilies for now. There will be more smilies in the next release in 2011

Okay, that works. Thanks, Arik.

I asked about this once but was only offered a helpfully unhelpful answer.

I go with something like this definition.

Some alternative definitions can be found here, though I think only #7 really applies at Candlekeep: "sinking the 8-ball" finishes/wins the game, and "being 8-balled" is to be faced with a difficult or impossible situation.
