I can't start a scroll in "Running the Realms section". I've tried twice, to no avail. Maybe the gremlins have started acting up again?

Having worked at one or two "respected" ISP's here in Australia over the years, I'm only partially inclined to agree.

Spoken like a true IT professional!

One of those flaws is that you believe that!

EDIT: Great, and logged me out by itself too.

Aye. That's due to a series of tome-constructs who patrol the halls looking for the odd spy[bot] or three. Unfortunately, some scribes are occasionally forced out by accident. I blame bad programming!

...

*The Sage hopes that the assembled scribes don't take too much notice of his ranks in the 'Computer Programmer' PrC on his Candlekeep profile.*

It's not as noticable as the number of times you've failed your Contain Gremlins role... Do you have a flaw affecting your modifier there?

Lots of scrolls got marked as unread ('open books'), even though I've read them. Argh.

And no, no more problems with scroll starting.

EDIT: Great, and logged me out by itself too.

Arik epic fails understanding the gremlin joke. Arik also points out that he tends to be a little nervous when people reference themselves in third person.
The Sage Posted - 22 Oct 2010 : 02:03:39
Indeed. I suspect the gremlins have escaped from their "stellar nursery*" that I crafted in deep Realmspace.

* You all know gremlins are born in stars, right? [Sorry, 'tis an old joke. ]

I had problems with scroll starting too, in the beginning. Works fine for me with IE8 compatibility mode and cookies enabled, though I don't know which detail made the difference.
The Sage Posted - 22 Oct 2010 : 01:16:27
Are you still having problems with opening new scrolls, Zireael?
Zireael Posted - 21 Oct 2010 : 18:52:43
Gremlins acting up. Don't let me edit the bare bones that I posted. And it was just a few lines.

Hmmm... I was able to start one there, not sure if it's gremlins here or in Poland.
