Greetings sages !
As I am completely devoid of any artistic talent , but would still like a picture for my character, can anyone recommend any sites where I could get some nice character images for free ? |

I usually draw the characters for my group, but a recent lack of time forced me to look elsewhere for a quick and easy way to create character portraits. I found Heromachine to be a good resource, there are free versions outthere with limited options, but I went ahead and purchased it for my group. It's fairly cheap and pretty good. Anytime, My fee is simple... Credit my name to the pic whenever someone mentions the pic. that's all it costs.
I'm pretty cheap that way. |

but yeah ive been meaning to get somebody to draw up my character as well but it usually cost money "anna is not cheap...as far as pictures go" and i dont know if i could explain my character well enough for someone to draw him exactly how i picture him...which would be hard because im kinda picky....but yeah i might eventually in the near future if you dont mind...try to trick into drawing my character up too |

if your looking for good character art and or an artist "sorry Lucian, im just trying to give more options i bet your art is great" i think the site im thinking of is www.lavandereyes.com and theres a specific artist there who does beautiful work...um her name is Anna Rigby...she also has a site....www.annarigby.com .....so thats all i got to say...if you try to check this stuff out and its wrong tell me and i'll try to fix whatever error i made....peace |

For PCs or important NPCs I tend to use Elfwood.
Trouble is it's hard to find a picture that perfectly fits the concept. For the less than important ones I've often tried to find a picture thats close to the mark and fit the character around that lol |

check out WotC's webside... It has hundreds of pictures. I have used it to suply my game with character portraits, monsters an maps. Its is worth using. |
