Exilion |
Posted - 24 Dec 2002 : 17:26:00 Karinthias looked me in the eyes, not wishing to acknowledge that a powerful king was competing with the evil that he held. Taking a deep breath, he picked up his old wooden staff and wished me to draw nearer to him. Walking closer to the evil man, I stopped, my eyes as cold as stone, and my attitude angry and strong. "Why did you kill my friends, relatives, acquaintences and fellow kings, but leave me as the only person in the neighbourhood of Faerun?" I mouthed, openly showing him the evil I would pour out when he replied to my bitter question. "When you were a baby, Exilion, I was a young, energetic man, who had many friends and hundreds of subjects. I was friendly, a man who would appreciate the great and astonishing aspects of Faerun. But, you were not born to be a good person, you were born to be a rogue, a dark wizard, theholder of all evil, and keeper of all darkness, as you may not understand. You see, the great king Alaian suggested that you could, when you grew up, work for him, and do the orcs and evil people justice." He took in another deep breath, and looked me in the eyes. "I wanted to save you, so that you and your family, and your friends would not grow up to be an evil king. But, I did not save you. Yes, I may have cast a spell upon you to be kind and generous, but, as you know, the spell caster always has a bad death in Faerun, and many people turned against me. I am, therefore a cold and bitter person, and if everyone was dead except you, could be my slave, my only worker, and my companion."
I screamed at him, and threw my staff towards his eyes ejecting a sombre flame against the evil wizard. He laughed, his long beard moving, and his evil eyes rolling. Karinthias murmured "Khalain alia tresew tye corbak" and I was picked off my feet, and thrown into a nearby pond, where I observed the old man laughing and murmuring yet more evil wishes throughout his reign. |
