Posted - 05 Nov 2002 : 13:42:20 Does this site have any PBeMs? I've looked all over the net and I can't find one for AD&D that looks for the newer generation (Hell, I was only 7 when my dad was playing Curse of the Azure Bonds!) I want participate in a PBeM, but I'm new & the latest ones are from '95. My thanks. |

Posted - 12 Dec 2002 : 14:40:38 Thanks Mumadar. The claim as you call it is true. I *am* pretty new. Actually, I got very lucky- my character's not dead (yet) and I seem to have a good DM. But now wisening up from "newbie" and hearing some stories, I would recommend that you do a bit more reasearch on the DM you'll be working with than I did. Look around to see what they might have done in the past. ASK Questions! It'll help prevent you from finding a DM whose *only* intention is to kill the characters, not to advance the plot with his/her characters having a good time. |

Posted - 12 Dec 2002 : 14:35:35 If I remember correctly the game started off as being for 4 to 6 players.... how much players do we have on The Silver Marches again Mumadar? |

Posted - 12 Dec 2002 : 10:26:34 For those who might wonder if requests like Kitira posted pay off... She's a member of the Silver Marches PbeM and despite her claim of being a 'newbie', performs remarkably well... Something I have seen from more 'newbies', maybe the term therefore is misleading.
Anyways... though succes is not guaranteed, making tthe request is half the job done in trying to enter a game. |
