Posted - 17 May 2007 : 03:15:24 Most of you know I'm not proficient with the 3e ruleset. So, I'm looking for a little assistance here from those with a better understanding of the 3e rules, than I currently possess.
I can't say much about what this is for, at the moment, though the information any scribe provides here that ultimately proves to be useful for what I've got cooking, will receive full credit and mention at a later date.
Now, to the requests -
1) Would any rules-proficient scribe here at Candlekeep be willing to update the "Tuneservant" speciality priest as detailed in Faiths & Avatars, for an 3e equivalent?
2) Were any of the Sorlyn spells detailed in the "Milil" entry for F&A ever updated to 3e -- specifically 'Song of Compulsion' and 'Forgotten Melody?' If not, would any scribe here be willing to attempt such updates?
3) I don't immediately recall seeing an 3e update for Milil's favored weapon -- Sharptongue. Would any scribe here be willing to attempt such an update?

Posted - 21 May 2007 : 13:17:52 Ooops on the Deneir patron part. A typo and all my fault that I didn't catch. Consider it errata. It should be Milil. :-)
All that said, while I think it's still a good representation, I would probably tweak it in lots of little ways given all the new ideas that have appeared in the various books. For example, I'd probably stack their levels with bardic music, but that would have to be balanced out, and I'd probably add Initiate of Milil as a prereq. I might even make them more of a PrC for divine bards from UA, but that is a project for another day. |

Posted - 18 May 2007 : 23:55:48 I just tried present my version of the Tuneservant - but TomCosta has done such a marvellous job - there would be no point.
Well done TomCosta - even if I was not sooo much on a different approch
Maybe you can explain why a Tuneservant needs Deneir as a partron.

Posted - 17 May 2007 : 10:56:02 Mystic theurge would be workable with Bard/cleric as it is due to that Bard is arcane |

Posted - 17 May 2007 : 04:31:45 Regarding Milil spells theres an Initiate of Milil Feat in Champions of Valor
Theres a Feat called from Smite to Song in CoV for Paladins of Milil
Tuneservant could be a Duel class Bard/Cleric or if you find "Mystic Theurge type" prc that advances Bard and cleric abilities at the same time then you could use that |
