I’m considering running a campaign set during the Year of Rogue Dragons, particularly in Damara, during the war. I read all 3 books and I got the impression that the war was pretty big, although finer details elude me. Does anyone have an idea what the damage was during the war? Did the village of Bloodstone survive, what is the aftermath, how big was the invading force, mainly orcs, giants and goblins, the overall scope? Can this war be compared to the one in Amn, during the Sythsilian army (the ogre mages) invasion

IIRC Heliogabalus, the capital, went untouched

i'm sure BV survived because the humanoids were in a hurry to get to the Damaran Gate on the same night they took Vaasan Gate before forewarning of their advance beat them there

since the war was for diversion tactics and not actual destruction, the actual damages probably weren't as bad as "normal"

but there would have been alot of pillaging by the humanoids
