And here's another famous project I had over at the Wizards boards.

Thread Rules
1) I may at some point include a glossary for NPC stats, but if such is to be, I'd ask that not everyone try to post contributions to this thread, or overload it with comments.
2) PLEASE, NO ARGUMENTS OVER PREFERENCES OF NPCs!!!! In other words, no "I like/hate X NPC more than Y NPC" or "X NPC sucked, Y ruled!"
3) Please, no debates on Korgan's racial origins.
4) I do not use any NPC mods for this game, so, unfortunately, I will more than likely decline requests for mod NPC stats (ex: Kelsey). My apologies.

Anyways, so here we go.

First off, that vile, greedy dwarf from Baldur's Gate 2.

Looking through your other threads...this is my first stop. I'm a HUGE fan of the BG PC games and I find this thread amazing...and useful...aaaaand just stole you your work.

Minsc was by far my favorite character from the series (in BGII anyway). That guy's banter was the best. Sadly, Immy wasn't around long enough to make much of an impact until her return...and then she was so macabre.

I like your work on Valygar...he was an interesting character. I also liked Korgan's banter in the game (wish it had lasted longer though).

Now to look at your cleric domains...

*sighs* If only I got money and romance with a compatible woman in real life for doing this stuff. I should be receiving my Bachelor's Degree soon enough, and yet I still find myself at square one, no matter how hard I try.

I realize you folks appreciate this, and all, but I seriously wish I could enjoy more of a healthy social life. I'm appreciated for my compassion, my writing and academic skills, but little else.

Anyways, here's at least Valygar from when you might first meet him.

Great job, Galuf! I'm hoping you get to Xan soon. He was my favorite! And Adjantis or Keldorn, also.

Edit: Tried to edit this earlier, but it kept keeping me out. Weird troubles we have here at Candlekeep at times, eh?

Actually, I more forgot to add the Weapon Focus bonus. I added that feat last-minute.

Good call on the Strength bonus, though. That's one rule point I keep forgetting.

Because I got ultra-busy with college. That's why. I was also nervous about resurrecting this thread because I didn't know how the admins would feel about that.

Resurrecting old threads is acceptable. I've seen much older ones resurrected!

@Kentinel: Yeah, I wrote that backstory based upon how Imoen would react at about 10 health points. That, and if I remember correctly, what someone brought to light at GameBanshee.com regarding that.

Also, if you notice at the cutscene at the beginning of Chapter 1,(highlight for spoiler) Irenicus does something with seems to cause a type of magical leeching action between Irenicus & Imoen, rather like he was draining something out of the gal's body.

You mean me, not Kentinel...

I realize what you are getting at with the backstory. I'm not sure I agree with it, for a few reasons:

1) Why didn't Irenicus also put a belt on the PC, since he wanted the same thing from him/her?

2) If you remember a cutscene from around the middle of the game, Imoen was inside that bell-shaped device that Irenicus uses to steal the PC's soul, which suggests that he took Imoen's soul the same way he later takes the PC's soul. If he didn't need a belt to take the PC's soul, I don't see why he'd need one for Imoen.

But nevertheless, that's just how I saw the story, personally--there's nothing wrong with your interpretation of it. I'm not trying to start an argument or anything, just explaining why I would ignore the belt, personally.

Personally I would have disregarded Imoen's belt, since in the game all it did was make sure Imoen didn't die prematurely (since she was needed alive for the story). Making a story reason for it is clever, but that reason didn't exist in the game.

Some of the skills were used as part of the requirements for the Battlerager prestige class.

Also, with his 6 fighter levels and total of 10 character levels, Korgan is entitled to 8 feats. According to the 3.5 Edition Player's Handbook...
1) Fighters get bonus feats at 1st and 2nd level, and every 2 levels after 2nd Fighter level. In that case, 6 fighter levels give him 4 bonus feats.
2) Since Korgan gets 1 normal feat at first level (which was Fighter) and normal bonus feats at 3rd and 6th level, this gives him total of 7 feats to work with.
3) Battleragers gain Close-Quarter Fighting as a bonus feat at 2nd level of Battlerager.
