Hi, I'm having trouble locating a prestige class (I may well have imagined it  ), but I can see a picture from a sourcebook in my mind still.
It had a gnome, and a brass coloured golem (looking a bit like a kettle, or the robot form Chrono Trigger). I think it was for a prestige class but I may be wrong.
Anyways, if anyone knows of a prestige class (not the gnome artificer) which focuses on the creation and use of a golem/golems I'd be grateful if you could tell me

Yes, my player chose Fire, Metal and Craft domain for his character.
You can stay within the cleric class taking the Craft domain, AND you get Skill Focus: Craft as a bonus!  |

One way would be to take the "Craft Domain" as Gond offers this Domain to his followers and Minor Creation is on that domain's spell list.
It's on page 62 of the FRCS.

My mind just started wandering and I thought about it.
One thing that confused me though, it seems oriented towards clerics of gond, but how did they get around the requirement of being able to cast Minor Creation? As far as I can see it's a Sor/Wiz spell only |

Kaladorm, what a coincidence!
One of my players saw his character die a month ago (after two years of playing, with over 3 raise dead spells on his account, he gave up the character and surrendered him to the Fugue Plane!  )
His new PC is a male rock gnome Cleric 7 / Techsmith 6, with a Gondsman and a Clay Golem.
I'm not sure the class is golem-oriented per se (i.e. not sure they give Craft Construct feat for free), but the bonuses to Craft ganted and other perks do indeed tend well to golem-making.
The PC hasn't been tested in battle though. I will give you feedback after Saturday... [evil DM grin...  ] |

I concur, the picture matches. Gondsman, not Golem, by the way. Gondsmen hate to be referred to as Golems. How'd you like it if I called you "caveman?" |

Confirmed, Techsmith. And the "robot kettle" guy is called a Gondsman. |

Indeed,the Techsmith had the brass Kettle Robot, the Effigy Master had a Golden Lion. |

I think you are looking for the Techsmith, located on pages 206-208 in Faiths&Pantheons.
