Posted - 03 Sep 2006 : 06:28:25 Ive just been reading the 3ed version of White Plume Mountain WOTC had up on there site
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20051207a
and Im debating whether to include it in my Waterdeep campaign
So far Ive come up with the following
Wave was stoleon from Dread High Trident Meritid Archneie (The leader of the Church of Umberlee in Waterdeep)
Whelm was stoeleon from the Dwarven Lich who lives in Undermoutain (See THe Lost Level)
Blackrazor: I havent decided yet Im thinking of one of the following
a) The Sword used to belong to Bhaal or a High Priest of Bhaal (The problem with this is BLackrazors CN alignment
b) Blackrazor belongs to Artor Morlins (Alignment clash similar to the Bhaal option)
c) The Sword belongs to the church of Tempus (Or maybe Gargos)if Tempus then it belongs to the Temple of Heroes in Waterdeep
White Plume Mountain becomes a volcanic sub level of Undermoutain
Karaptis is replaced by Halaster Blackcloak or one of his apprentices
Comments?
Anyone had experince running White Plume Mountain in the realms? |

Just a thought, as this can work for Tempus as well.
Interesting idea another way to take it might be that when Tempus and GArgos where fighting for the right to be God of war Gargos managed to take a Sliver out of Tempus armour after the fight moved on a Cleric of Tempus recovered the Sliver and forged it into a bastard sword |
