Posted - 15 Aug 2006 : 07:01:17 Well met!
Ive been thinking about this for a while and probably my lack of realms knowledge or skills at seeking information is the reason for this post.
When the Disciple gains his 5th level in the PrC it says he "sheds his mortal coil" and becomes an outsider. Now say that this clerics deity is Finder what would happen in game terms. What would this transformation grant the character and what kind of outsider would he become? Would his appearance change and to what? Would he be spotted as such with ease say if strolling around Waterdeep? Is there a book or scroll in the library that handles the subject of "outsiders" in more depth.
I thank thee all in advance for thy knowledge and patience when confronted with questions that might constitute as common knowledge to the sages.

She would become a native outsider much like an Aasimar or a Tiefling, but with a Chaotic subtype. It doesn't mention a physical appearance change.
But if you want to add a physcial element...
Remember that Finder's colour's are Brown and Green with hints of Grey and White. He is represented by songbirds and Giant Owls. If you want to use an Outsider to give minor appearance additions (Like Aasimar or Tiefling) try Firre, Lillend, or Succubus as bases. As they would be the best Bard characters using Outsiders.
So Physical changes might be Grey eyes or hair, One brown eye and One green one, Irridescent scales in smale patches (Lillend), Ringing Voice that Trumpets out (Lillend or just being a Finderite), Horns (Succubi), Prehensile (Succubi), and Fiery flickering eyes (Firre).
These are just some examples of an idea if you want to add a physcial change in your character. |
