With the dissolution of my local gaming group...(due to people having lives and moving away) and no local gameshops of note at my locale, I am now considering the prospect of looking for some E-PnP campaigns that are run using the Realms.

To be honest I am not even sure what e-pnp covers. I have often seen play by mail campaigns advertised in Dungeon, but that seems timely (and expensive) for someone not based in the states. Are their other options?

Can the sages here recommend any forums or boards that cater to this niche? As I think it may be a while before I can find some tabletop gamers in my area again....

One thing that has always surprised me is that WOTC has never seen fit to capitalize on the internet/international crowd. I know there are a few groups out there that have created software to play PnP online...but I have always been a bit hesitant to shell out money for them, because you have to convince all your friends to do it too. But were WOTC to create one that easily facilitated chat/dice rolling/and interactive maps I would certainly pay for it and it would be an easier 'sell' to my old gaming friends.
