Posted - 19 May 2006 : 14:41:30 The Web Enhancement to Champions of Valor has the "High One Warrior-Mage" WIZARD substitution levels which REQUIRE two levels in Paladin. However, five levels of Paladin, then levels of wizard, gets you the ultimate build, as you gain the Special Mount Familiar ability (you apply both Familiar and Special Mount abilities unto your Special Mount). Your Arcane Spell Failure chance also drops by 20%, allowing you to wear a fullplate with no chance of failure (i.e. fullplate 35% --> -20% for the class ability, -10% with the Twilight armor property, -5% if you use Thisledown padding)

Posted - 14 May 2006 : 03:51:45 If you are looking for a warrior with an alignment requirement that casts arcane spells and has special abilities that are based on arcane syle abilities, the hexblade in Complete Warrior must be non-good, gets a familiar, the ability to hex opponents, and eventually cast arcane spells.
But that isn't quite an arcane paladin, and in fact is kind of opposite in both regards (cannot be good, uses arcane instead of divine). |

Complete Warrior covers Non-spellcasting Paladins.
I've not heard of an Arcane Paladin. Not thinking of the Eldritch Knight?
