Does anyone know where I can find a map of the layout of the town?
I've tried searching online and browsing through Volos guide to the Dalelands/FRCS and not found anything

Thanks for any help

I saw at least one copy of the print Atlas on eBay this morning.

There's also the Shadowdale adventure module. It was written for 1st or 2nd edition.

Don't forget about the map in the Shadowdale novel -- it covers the "inner" Shadowdale.

In addition to the other sources that my fellow scribes have stated, I pulled out my paper version of the forgotten realms atlas, and it covers Shadowdale. This tome covers the town, the tower of ashaba, the old skull inn, elminsters tower, and the temple of lathander( before it was destroyed in the avatar trilogy, but since it was rebuilt, I would assume it would be similar). IMO though, the 2E box set has the best detailed info on Shadowdale, as a whole

The Old Grey Box -- which I give the highest recommendation to anyone without one -- has a map of Shadowdale, the basis of the ones in FRE1 Shadowdale and the Shadowdale book in the 1993 campaign box -- whose existence is the reason Shadowdale is skipped in the Volo's Guide.

Heh, my copy of Shadowdale is at home, I'll try and get Tosscobble to have a look and see if it has anything useful in, though I'm fairly sure it does.
