My Players keep out
Im currently running a COSQ campaign and I was just reading Exstinction again and noticed that the Lake of Shadows appears in both the COSQ and the events of the WOSQ novels (The Lake of Shadows is where the Drow find the Ship of Chaos trapped in the storm.
Several of my players have read the WOSQ novels so I thought I might put in a cameo appearances with some of the WOSQ characters/events
Maybe while the PCs are crossing the Lake of Shadows they see the storm with ship of chaos trapped in it, they might even be able to see several humanoid creatures floating in the air around it.
When they reach the cave entrance that leads from the Lake of Shadows to the Wailing Cliff they find the remains of Pharaun's Wall of Ice spell.

Sounds like a nice way to give some extra entertainment to those players who have read the novels. Let us know how it works out. |
