I agree with Lord Rad. I personally think that Kate Novak and Jeff Grubb made an awesome combo. I rank their stuff just a bit higher than Elaine's, and you know I like her stuff.
Well if we keep shouting loud enough maybe WotC will hear us and whilst they appear to be on a big re-release stint, they just might do the Novak\Grubb series (I'm still hoping for that collectors edition of all 6 novels together as well) |

Isn't the novel, Masquerades set in Westgate? I've never read it, so no idea if it's a good source of information for the city.
I highly recommend Masquerades, SiriusBlack. Make sure you've read the Finders Stone Trilogy beforehand though. One of my favorite FR novel series (along with Finder's Bane and Tymora's Luck to make it complete). |

Ah, check. Painfully obvious with my reply then that I've never gotten around to reading those novels.

Posted - 17 Apr 2005 : 06:47:33 There was a web enhancement for Cloak & Dagger that focused on Westgate. It featured a timeline and a list of dynasties.
And, to save you the effort, I tracked it down.
Westgate stuff! |

Posted - 17 Apr 2005 : 06:34:28 It's south of Cormyr on the south-west part of the Sea of Fallen Stars.
FR Adventures has info on Westgate. Heroes and Villian's Lorebook for the Alias info from those novels. The 1e and 2e campaign box sets. The 3e campaign sourcebook. And I feel like I'm forgetting one or two other sources. |
