Greetings fellow scribes
For some time I have been working on a temple-area for a NWN-server set in the Forgotten Realms (but with few players who know much about the Realms), and now that I have finally managed to get the physical features of the different temple to a level I am almost pleased with I have reached the stage where I have to write a small blurb about every deity worshiped in the different temples. And so, in order to save time, I turn to you fellow scribes: Could you please help me out with a few of them to save me from just copying information found in the five religious-oriented sourcebooks?
The deities I need descriptions for are:
Mystra
Azuth
Talos
Umberlee
Gond
Oghma
Ilmater
Torm
Tyr
Tempus
Red Knight
Lliira
Sune
Sharess
Selūne
Valkur
Kelemvor
Jergal
The format for each blurb I've been trying to make is a quick description of the dogma of the deity as well as information as to the alignment and potential allies/enemies of the faith. And perhaps a small list of famous (characters from novels and/or sourcebooks) worshipers/clergy of the deity in question. |

Thanks Sirius, not quite what I needed I'm afraid. It's useful enough to find out a deities alignment and things tied to that, but if you already have Faiths & Pantheons, Faiths & Avatars, Powers & Pantheons, Demihuman Deities, and Prayers of the Faithful it's not very enlightening.
What I was after would be something a bit more like this:
Sune (Lady Firehair), goddess of Romance, Beauty, and Love.
The followers of Sune are known as stunningly beautiful, but sometimes airheaded, individuals who live to spread love, friendship and beauty in the name of their goddess while at the same time having a good time doing it.
Some famous members of Lady Firehair's church are Adon, a priest who adventured together with Midnight, Kelemvor, and Cyric during the Time of Troubles and later went on to become the first cleric of the "new Mystra" (Midnight), and Larajin, a half-elven daughter of the Sembian merchant Thamalon Uskevren, who along with her half-brother stopped an impending war between the wood elves of Cormanthor and Sembia from breaking out.
Pardon for any inaccuracies, I wrote the whole thing from the top of my head. |
