Posted - 07 Apr 2005 : 18:10:14 thx for your help. that is just what i feared/hoped. so for all the folks that is interested why i needed it, read on and please give some feedback. after the battle of singing sands and the death of his brother elthond philaspur creates some caches along the river umber in the tanath mountains, reachable easyly by griffons. he also comissioned the construction of a "glass tower" at the east end of the mountains as a watchpost for invading thay armies. this tower was made invisible to the mortal or magic eye so as not to be found by the red wizards and could only be found by specially made "star scepters" and the proper command word. even the caches were well hidden so someone needs one of the scepters to find them easily. but all this was just enough to drive the red wizard invasion back three years later and philaspur was slain as he fought the retreating wizards in the tannath gap. one of his trusted pages (knappe in german/hope you know what i mean) can snatch up some of the magic stuff of his liege, as the wizards renew there attack with the leader of the aglarondan defenders dead. he flees on a griffon to one of the caches and remains there deadly wounded. over time all the scepters vanish, lost or stolen, and the locations of the caches are forgotten. my players are now ordered by the church of tempus to find a unique item: elthonds helm of leadership, lost by philaspur at the battle of brokenheads. |

Posted - 04 Apr 2005 : 00:46:14 What other information do you need? If you are after a specific write-up of the battles (forces, lay of the land, who did what and when) then it looks like you'll have to start making some stuff up yourself. There is no published material on these events other than what you've found already.

Posted - 03 Apr 2005 : 23:19:40 I am going to search through all of my old stuff and my new books, but I don't think there is ALOT of information on what you are looking, which in that case you could be free to make your own infromation up.
