A player in my group had to leave the gaming sessions and missed around 6 sessions.

Now that he's back his character is way, way behind in terms of level.

My question is what have you people done when a player leaves for a while and then returns, having missed not only story but XP too.

I guess missing the stories isnt that bad, it can be covered along in-game. But what have you done to compensate for the lack in levels for that character?

The only solution brouht to my attention so far is templates.

Any takers?
