So in the 4E world, these thigns were created as part of the Spellplague.
In my Neverwinter campaign, the group was going to use one that near the city as a base, The Pirates Skyhold. Is there any new news about them failing with the end of the Spellplague or subsequent events?
Anyone have any other references to them by chance? |

Akanul still maintained its earthmotes after the Sundering per the SCAG (think that was the source). There's nothing that says there might not be other areas. |

I haven't read much Sundering novels but maybe some are still infused with latent energy and remain afloat but slowly are descending. |

Most of them landed during the Sundering. |
