I'm running a 5th edition game set in the North tomorrow, and one of my players wanted to play a ghostwise halfling using the Uthgardt Tribe Member background from SCAG reflavored as Ghostwise Tribe Member. I decided to allow it, but the background gives the character extensive knowledge of the North. So, does anyone know of any ghostwise communities in the North? If not I'll just make one up, but I figured I would check to see if there were already any in the lore. Thanks in advance. |

No, the official lore states that the Ghostwise hin settled in the Chondalwood and their bond with that forest cemented their unique culture. However, given how dramatic the forced exodus was from Luiren and all the taboos associated with this event then it's very feasible that their tribe could have split again, with a faction migrating further north under the influence of some charismatic leader. |
