Dear fellows scribes,
I need to use the ghost of Alusair as a method to lure my players into the final sequence of my campaign.
Could you please point out how the steel regent became a ghost?
Because I never read any book on her (aside from Farideh 's saga) and online I couldn't find the cause of the transmutation of her essence into a ghost.

According to EG, "her story is neither finished nor fully told".
If anyone got a 'raw deal' in Faerūn, it was her. Her story needs to be told.
And maybe a little untold history on her mom, as well.  |

On a more serious note, I'd expect an NDA to cover the manner of her death. We know very little of what happened to her, post-3E. |
