Posted - 10 Feb 2014 : 17:01:24 Can anyone point me in the direction of some good maps of the grounds of universities such as Oxford, Cambridge and other 'old' institutions? The ones I've found online so far aren't as helpful as I'd hoped.
Basically I would like something that shows the complete grounds but have a "DnD" appearance to the maps (if such a thing exists). Something that breaks down the separate schools and the use of each building would be great too. |

You just have to use search words like 'old', 'vintage', and 'historic' when looking for maps with that 'D&D feel'.
On another note, I think I'll grab copies of these for myself - I imagine Candlekeep is set-up like one of these town-sized universities, and I am sure I'll find a use for them somewhere. |

I've found a few that might work but both campuses are so HUGE that it's pretty much impossible to download a workable map without losing details in the process. I knew there would be an issue given that such institutions are like small cities in themselves but figure someone has used them as templates for similar purposes in their gaming. |
