Google gave me only this: http://oracle.wizards.com/scripts/wa.exe?A2=ind9909d&L=realms-l&P=17489

I know about the Seven Sisters and the Bhaalspawn.

Do you know about any others or have you played / DM'ed a session with your homebrew ones?

Thanks in advance

What on earth are you talking about? The Throne of Bhaal (not Blood) has already been claimed, in the year 1369 DR to be exact. It was taken by the most powerful bhaalspawn to ever live. Aranel Idrial, a human bhaalspawn and the slayer of Firkraag and killer of Jon Irenicus. I can't believe you didn't know all this already. Do you live under a rock?

Meh, of course I know that. But you're referring to Realms #181-72/K, which was known for easymode and multiple reloads. We're talking about Realms #1, aka Realms Prime.

And it is called the Throne of Blood. Squeaky wheel gets the KICK!

Although Bane and Bhaal - and many other gods - are most often presented in a male aspect, it should be remembered that deities might manifest in whichever gender pleases them (or their needs) at the moment. Although it seems unlikely, it's quite possible for Bane to be Xvim's mother rather than his sire. In fact, it's not entirely impossible for Bane to be both of Xvim's parents.

It should also be remembered that divine entities are not required to procreate through flesh. Some spontaneously appear from nothing (or so it would appear), simply because the necessary conditions of faith exist.

Is it possible that one or more of Bhaal's children survived?

I know Abdel Adrian did, canonically, but I'm wondering if there might have been any other deathy-rugrats that survived, and we might never have heard about them.

Would you include anyone from the Baldur's Gate game saga in that question? If so, would Imoen count?

Maybe, I don't know. It's been so long since I've read the novelisations that I can't remember if anyone other than Abdel (could have) survived, or if he was meant to be the "last" one.

In the game, I think by the time Melissan shows up there are only three (main character, Melissan, and possibly Imoen). But game canonicity is always a little dubious.

I just think it would be -very- interesting, story wise, if one or two might have flown under the radar, so to speak. Maybe there's an elf or half-elf, or some other racially long-lived Child of Bhaal still wandering around by 1485 DE. If there is, perhaps the Throne of Blood is still waiting for a claimant.

Ah! A favourite topic of mine. Well there's Iyachtu Xvim (son of Bane)...and...that's all I know. Oh, and check out this scroll. Not very helpful, has pretty much nothing, but *shrug*.
