Do special attacks NOT deal damage? Specifically disarm and trip? Even if a weapon is used? I was under the impression it was slicing the hand that held the weapon, cutting the legs out from under the orc...I can see under not harming the item-holder but the others? Bull rush is slamming into someone. Play football, it hurts. Lol.

It depends on which special attack, some do not cause hit point damage some do.

Nope, most "special attacks" just give the attacker the upper-hand in battle. Though, with feats like Improved Trip, the attacker gets a free attack if his opponent is successfully tripped. At least, thats what the rules say. Feel free to add in ur own DM-ad hoc rules
