Ok, Druids in Animal forms, Winged Half-fiends or Celestials, Half-dragons...players with wings...even those from the Fly spell, anyone have any rules for dealing with flying through the forest? Jungle? Im at a loss, should i just say trees everywhere are no biggie full speed ahead or ooopps, failed Reflex Save..watch out for that tree!

Oops! Forgot to preview, and those tables got clumped together. Can't find an edit button, so maneuverability should look like this:

Perfect: -3
Good: 0
Average: +1
Poor: +3
Clumsy: +5

My apologies...

Just off the top of my head: in heavy forest, I'd limit speed to 3/4 of the creatures max flying speed, and in jungle the limit would be half of the creatures max flying speed (a flying creature usually has to move at least half it's speed to remain airborne, IIRC.). Now, a creature can attempt to go faster, up to their max speed, but doing so would require a reflex save. The base for the save would be DC:10, adjusted for size and maneuverability as follows:

Size: Fine -8 Maneuverability: Perfect: -3
Diminutive -4 Good: 0
Tiny: -2 Average: +1
Small: -1 Poor: +3
Medium: 0 Clumsy: +5
large: +1
Huge: +2
Gargantuan: +4
Colossal: +8

Failing this save means the creature either hit something or became entangled in branches or such, and they lose their movement for that round.
Now, the numbers may need tweaking a bit. But a druid wild shaped into a sparrow (size tiny, maneuverability average) would be DC:11, while a dragon (say size Huge, maneuverability Clumsy) would be DC: 17. That looks about right.

Hope that helps. :)

(Pathfinder created the 'Fly' skill)

Probably depends on the creature's Manueverability.
