Goliath from Races of Stone(?) Anyway these medium-sized humanoids are considered Large size for modfiiers such as Bull-rush Grapple and so on, What about as a Half-dragon. Would they get the wings? Im inclined to think the description means "more stable and sturdy" but how does that trasnlate to getting freaky with a dragon? Ideas? |

Its a wingspan thing.
On the other hand, the larger size of a creature makes it heavier, and therefor harder to lift off the ground. Scientifically speaking, a Gnome with wings is actually far more believable then a Dragon is. Even fantasy worlds have a little thing called 'gravity'. |

I let any of my players who take the half-dragon template have the wings. It seems silly for the medium and smaller characters not to have wings while the larger ones do. |

I agree with you that the powerful build of a goliath is a large medium creature. No wings for half-dragon goliaths. |
