Posted - 14 Oct 2008 : 18:31:14 I know that ther is some of the Draconic Language listed in the Draconomicon, but does anyone know if there is a more completelisting of it somewhere else?
I'm looking for words that were not done in the aforementioned book.
Thanks for the help. |

Posted - 22 Oct 2008 : 13:11:09 There's a Draconic-English/English-Draconic dictionary here. I'm not sure if it corresponds to official WotC draconic (where the vocab is known), though. |

In 2E, each draconic race had its own tongue. In addition to that, there were common tongues per subtype (gem dragons, metallic dragons, chromatic dragons...). In addition that, most dragon species had a chance to communicate with any intelligent creature (a % chance that increased by age category). |

Posted - 21 Oct 2008 : 20:14:26 http://mysticallair.deviantart.com/journal/6483844/ has a copy of a Draconic dictionary of sorts, which it attributes to Dragon Magazine. I originally read through the list on another site, supposedly from the guy who created the Draconic vocabulary/syntax that was partially published in Draconomicon, but I can't seem to locate that other site now.... |

As far as I know, the idea of a single draconic language in D&D worlds debuted in 3E, as part of a general simplification of tongues and scripts. |
