I have a question concerning weapon special abilities.
If I have a weapon that has the Bane special ability asnd when I become epic level want to get the Dread weapon special ability placed upon my weapon, does the dread weapon special ability stack with the bane ability or does it supersceed it?
And for those that don't know what the dread special weapon ability does, it is exactly the same as the bane ability only it does more damage and has a special effect upon a critical hit. |

After looking through the adventurer's vault, my thoughts are no. I am not seeing anything that would allow stacking of weapon abilities, as you are suggesting. Not to say you can't stack abilities if that is what your group decides.
EDIT: found the answer: page 198 and 199 of Adventurer's vault. would not be able to stack with the enchant magical item ritual
