My Drunken Halfling bar.
Also: Running gag in game. Every bar/inn the PC's go to, regardless of location, has the same halfling girl working there. Because everytime they go to a bar or Inn, something horrible happens to them, or they bring baddies there, and the halfling gets fired.
It's now to the point that the poor halfling woman screams in fear and hatred every time they come. She's learning to be an assassin so she just can stop them herself next time. After all, she seen how they fight and knows their weakness.
Is her name Agrajag?
It's not a bad idea, but it can easily get out of hand.
I had a DM who had a favored running gag, something that even went to different campaigns: the characters would periodically, and often in a very odd location, encounter Bill Brannigan's pony. The pony never did anything, other than show up in places no pony should ever be able to get to. |

:) I suppose that Forgotten Realms is as popular as it is because alot of it is laid out.
Heh. Thankfully my tavern is in a little forgotten area in a far off realm. So its almost canon.
Right? Please? |

Posted - 29 Jun 2008 : 18:16:18 Track down a copy of Volo's Guide to Waterdeep (or buy the $4 pdf from Paizo). It has extensive information on the inns and taverns of Waterdeep, including what kinds of food and drink are served in each, what the quality and price is, and even info on the inn-/tavern-keeper and serving persons. The Inn of the Dripping Dagger even has a full menu and floorplan. |
