A new Realms Personality is up... A Rashemi barbarian with an odd moniker (can I really say that about someone else? ):

Fyldrin of the Eleven Chairs

Loxo have actually been around for a while -- they were introduced back in those long ago days when 2E was still going strong.

Yes, it makes you wonder just how the Mindugulph mercenary company gets paid ... what do the cave fishers charge for their time?

Ed created it :)

Beholders, belabras, cave fishers, cildabrins, cloakers, githzerai, hengeyokai, loxos, mimics, plasmoids, q’nidars, shambling mounds, shockers, sulls, tabaxis, treants, tritons, and wemics have all been members of this one company. As well as many others.

One of the mercenary companies from 2e also has Loxo as one of it's memebers. Some of the other members include centaurs, beholders, and many other monster type of creatures. :) See the 1e box set the 2e box set or Gold and Glory.

You, my friend, have a sick mind. Don't ever change.

I like the idea, but then again, I've always liked the loxo. I have an odd liking for certain human/animal blends (but not furries!).

For the first time in a while, Wizards is giving us a new Realms personality: Dauphal, the Dangerous Bull -- a male loxo ranger and wizard. Another interesting concept, thinks I.

No, Fyldrin would not lose his ability to rage if he became evil. A barbarian's alignment on the good/evil axis has no influence on his class abilities.

Personally, I have trouble reconciling the son of the former ruler of Rashemen as an agent of Thay. Since he has no designs on ruling his people, and every intention of remaining in and defending his homeland, one would have to construct a rather convoluted backstory to change him to a Thayan agent.

If he did go evil would he lose his ability to go into a rage??Because I think he would be awesome if he was evil, and was an agent for Thay.

Yeah, CN definitely suits this guy. And DDH_001 is correct, too -- this guy had plenty of reasons to go evil, and didn't.

All in all, an interesting character concept.
SiriusBlack Posted - 02 Sep 2004 : 05:00:49
Now that is an interesting personality. The CN alignment definitely applies to this character.

I find his past to be quite interesting. Considering all the betrayals and tortures he has gone through, I'm surprised that Fyldrin didn't turn evil when he had the chance.
