This is a story penned by Ed Greenwood at last years Gen Con (with the help of FR fans who attended the seminar). I believe this is the second "Spin a Yarn". I havent read it yet but it appears to feature Manshoon.

If anyone gets around to reading it please provide a summary of what the story entails here (warn of Spoilers beforehand though for those who wish to read it proper )

The "Spin a Yarn" stories are always a bit over the top, and always seem to feature the Seven Sisters, well, being the Seven Sister and Elminster behaving like a bit of a moron (I mean really, cakewalk?). Having read the other two, I still say this most recent one was the least ubsurd one, which is saying a lot. Frankly, I think most of the blame goes ont eh fans, having read the notes Ed Greenwood took at the second "Spin a Yarn", wherein the demands made by the fans were, shall we say, many in nature. Still, it makes for one funny story.

This is the third Spin A Yarn. And Ed regretfully deems it non-canon, because, as he put it, "I put EVERY LAST audience suggestion in, but they're getting too ridiculous." He loves doing the panels, though, just for the chance to tease Mary-Elizabeth Allen. (I believe she says she loves them for the same reason.)
Myself, I can't wait to meet Manshoon-in-lingerie in a Realmsplay session. Volo, though...shudder.

Yeah, that is strange how WOTC never does announce any novel tidbit on the main FR page. It's as if such things are an afterthought to the company.

Part 2 is now up on the WotC site.
