One thing that jumps out at me is "leveraged buyout", this only can occur if Providence Equity Partners have excellent credit, considering the current credit market.
An article at http://www.projo.com/business/content/HASBRO_BUYOUT_TOPOFF_06-25-10_PPJ063N_v12.15a794b.html
States quote: The Pawtucket-based toymaker on Thursday issued a formal statement confirming the talks initiated by Providence Equity Partners but noted “its board of directors determined that there was no interest in pursuing such a transaction.”
IAE it appears clear that if the entire company was purchased, all lines not earning enough would be terminated. |

Posted - 25 Jun 2010 : 03:07:11 Hasbro denies there's anything there... Of course, WotC denied the existence of 4E just a few months before announcing it, so it's a personal call for how much you want to trust them. |
