Why do we always learn of new upcoming products from other sites and sources other than the official WotC site? Even their online product catalog takes months to get up to date. Id have thought that they would want to shout out about the new year releases from the official site?! Seems a very strange way of marketing to me. |

For some reason, there is nearly always a mention in some post or thread that I will read that makes mention of a new product that may not be released for many months, even up to a year. In fact it was the first place that I learned about the Complete Warrior tome due for release later this year.
The really strange thing about the lack of updates though, for D&D products, is in direct contrast with the amount of release information and product details that WotC posts about any new MTG releases.

But you are correct, it usually takes a while for the site to be updated. |
