Hey,

Does anyone know if there's any conversions of Forgotten Realms material to Pathfinder? I'm asking because I want to run an FR game using that rules set and am hoping for some material.

I'd be interested to hear scribes' suggestions on where they would place each of the Pathfinder adventure paths in the Realms.

I'll buy the Golarion stuff, but won't be using the rules (or any other edition rules)

I am getting NPCs and stuff together now so when the Pathfinder rules 'lock', I'll be ready to start conversions. For now, I'm just collecting the data, but if you want, I'll send you a PM once I start getting some ready.

It's designed to be backwards compatible so it's pretty easy. Really it's so easy that I wouldn't expect to see any official conversions.

Well, there can't be anything official (except for the generic D&D stuff in the SRD, which Paizo will revise itself) because WotC owns the IP. That said, the conversion shouldn't be worse than going from 3.0 to 3.5, so you could either do the conversion on the fly or just ignore it until someone might do an unofficial conversion.

That's pretty much what I was going to say.

Maybe its too early to expect that. The final version of Pathfinder hasn't come out yet. So any conversion work now will have to be revised later.
