They've released what will likely be the last 3E errata... And man, are they changing things!

Yup! Today is a good net day.

If someone try to enter the wiki of Guild Wars, it will enter in the WoW Wiki.
IF someone try to enter the wiki of WoW... oh, nevermind.

Took me a moment to realize that it is April Fool's Day...

Yes. And what about his masterpiece tome, I Am America (And So Can You!)?

It's a minor bit of the errata:

quote:
Page 203-204 - Bigby [Substitution]
All reference to Bigby become “Stephen Colbert.” All spells with “Stephen Colbert” in the name have “Doritos” as a material spell component.

"Rodents of Unusual Size?"

"I don't think they exist."

:rawr!:

Cheers

*Looks at the date today, smiles and wanders off.*

darn....blocked at work....interesting on the Magic Missile spell though....usually all five hit the same target in an encounter at that level as its needed to take down the HP easily, but s'all good with the 15 feet apart thing ("Blast those five commoners, kill them and their 2 hp each, as long as they aren't further than 15 feet apart!!!")

irony ON
I knew they'd get around to introduce some good stuff to 3e
irony OFF

Long live the browncoats!!!!
Wooly Rupert Posted - 01 Apr 2008 : 12:52:53
...And I find it ironic that the downloadable version of the errata isn't the final draft!
Wooly Rupert Posted - 01 Apr 2008 : 12:46:42
Yeah, but there's an omission in the errata, under the Prepared for Anything feat description.

quote:
6. Protect yourself from the awful fumes of a Bugblatter Beast.

They failed to mention wrapping the towel around your head to keep it from eating you!

Not only that, but the feat should also include some sort of Charisma bonus, and maybe even a Morale bonus, too:

quote:
More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

And after all these years, it's about time the chain mail bikini becomes official gear.

And it's good to see both Firefly and that great American, Stephen Colbert, getting some love from WotC.

The holy hand grenade?!?!?!?!?!

Now, now.... this makes my day.

This made me chuckle from the Magic Missile errata.

"Targets: Up to five creatures (no two of which can be more than 15 ft. apart)... or the darkness"
